The band Lunarway was formed in September 2016. The original lineup consisted of three members: Alina Yermakova(vocals), Serhii Bezzubenko (guitar), and Dmytro Volokhov (drums). A few months later, Serhii Balashov (bass) joined the band.

Lunarway has performed at various gigs in their home city, Kharkiv, as well as in Dnipro. Notably, they also performed as a supporting act for Dero Goi's concert in Kharkiv.

In 2020, Serhii Balashov left the band, and Ernest Dashevskyi took over as bass guitarist.

In 2019, the band began recording their debut album, Eternal Moments.

In December 2024, the band released two singles: Streams of Time (on December 14) and Stellar Way (on December 22). These were followed by their full-length album, Eternal Moments, which was released on December 27.

In February 2025, the band released a music video for one of their songs (Lost In Memories).
